Problem Note 56674: Worksheet becomes unresponsive during an export to Excel after the values are copied and pasted to a new tab in Excel
In SASĀ® Performance Analysis, a worksheet might become unresponsive after you export to Excel and then copy and paste the exported values to a new tab in Excel. If you try to close the worksheet while the worksheet is unresponsive, the following Internet Explorer messages are displayed:
Internet Explorer blocked an ActiveX control, so this page might not display correctly.
A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab.
If you then try to re-open the worksheet without closing the browser, the following error is displayed:
Error Code 103 -- No error strings loaded
(Data\SCDLWshtDoc.cpp.345 code=103 time=Mon Sep 28 09:18:48 2015 -- The operation timed out.)
When you click the 'OK' button, the application freezes and the process must be closed using the Task Manager.
The same Internet Explorer messages occur when a sequential task is exported with the values that were copied and pasted in a new tab in Excel.
To work around this issue, export and save all your tasks before performing the copy and paste within Microsoft Excel.
